First Time Acupuncture is for all clients who have not been seen at our office for Acupuncture. Elizabeth offers gentle Acupuncture techniques to ensure your comfort during the session. After discussing your symptoms, Elizabeth will check your pulse and tongue. Using a guide tube to minimize pain, needles will be placed on different acupoints around the body. Once the needles are placed and you are relaxing comfortably, Elizabeth will leave you to rest for 10-15 minutes at a time, with a call button to reach her. For most sessions, two sets of needles are used, one on the front and one on the back. At the end of the session, you have the option of receiving sliding glass cupping and/or gua sha on the back or other areas of your body with muscular tension. ​

Our health needs are constantly changing. A Personalized Session gives you the option to customize your holistic healing session. At the beginning of your session in consultation with your therapist you may choose a combination of beneficial techniques like: Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Reflexology, Natural Reflex Therapy or Reiki to meet your current needs and personal session preferences.

Personalized Session

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy techniques improve the function of the fluid system in our body. Flow can be impeded by many things including injuries, traumas and surgeries. LDT is helpful for strengthening the immune system, reducing edema or inflammation, improving circulation, range of motion, digestion and breathing. It is beneficial for weight loss, detoxification, sleep and nervous system disorders, joint pain, and post surgical issues.     

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

Natural Reflex Therapy is a gentle, yet profound type of clothed bodywork that is beneficial for a variety of issues including: pain, range of movement and endocrine issues, allergies, stress, head and neck issues, headaches, immune system disorders, carpal tunnel, frozen shoulder, digestive and sleep issues. 

Natural Reflex Therapy

Reflexology is more than a foot massage. Reflexology sessions typically focus on the feet or hands. Therapeutic stimulation of the reflex points are non painful and benefit people of all ages and conditions. Regular sessions are helpful for diabetic neuropathy and circulatory issues, for painful conditions such as arthritis and edema and for complications due to injury, trauma and surgeries.

Reiki is a deeply relaxing clothed therapy. Regular Reiki sessions promote a deep sense of personal awareness, self-love and grounding. Fatigue, worry, relationship issues and feeling disconnected from self and others can all be signs that your body’s energy system is offline. Reiki therapy fosters mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
